All of my online teaching resources (courses, masterclasses and the monthly membership) are listed in USD. As a Canadian, I often get questions as to why I do this, so let me explain!

As an international business owner, approximately 65% - 70% of my students are from the United States, with less than 10% being from Canada. Since my course software does not currently have the capacity to enable students to pay in their local currency, I have to choose one. The US dollar is not only the most widely-recognized currency for international online business, but it’s also suited to the majority of my customer-base who are American.

I take the current exchange rate into my pricing process, and incorporate all taxes into the listed price (so Canadians are not charged sales tax on top of their purchase). If you could like to pay in CAD, I’m happy to provide you with a link to do so, however please note that it will adjusted to reflect the current USD to CAD exchange rate.

Note: my prints and original paintings (viewable at www.loveanddotsshop.com) are priced in Canadian dollars and sold on my Shopify platform, which does enable customers to select and pay in their local currency.
